Being afraid is not an experience that many of us would say we desire. In fact, we usually avoid things and people that make us afraid. In several places in scripture, the “fear of the Lord” is described as the beginning of wisdom. So fear of the Lord is a good thing. What exactly is the fear of the Lord then? Why is it a good thing and how does it bring wisdom?
