It’s a Marriage Monday!

As husbands and wives, we need to be reminded of simple truths more often than we need to be instructed in new ones. So let’s remember this today:

Jesus came not to be served, but to serve.

The primary goal in a good marriage is not great sex, weekly date nights, celebrating every special occasion, excellent communication, meaningful quantity and quality of time together.

The primary goal in a good marriage is to put the other first — to serve and to lay your life down for one another.

Because “if you lose your life, you will find it” and “all these other things will be added to you”.
