There are times in life when we must let go. Let go of expectations, of certain plans that we’ve made or assumptions about how our lives will go. Sometimes this letting go is a relief. We breath a deep sigh and are comforted, knowing that God is in charge and not us. At other times, however, letting go is tremendously difficult and even painful and we cannot see nor conceive of what God is doing.

In those moments, those seasons, we need to strive to take hold of God’s promises. Pastor Bill King leads us through the lives of Abraham and Sarah and moments in his own life when plans were dashed, when dreams seemed dead, and God’s promises seemed faint and faded.
