We live in a time of unprecedented self-sufficiency. Seemingly anything and everything we desire can be delivered right to our door. Entertainment, clothing, food and all manner of tools and toys arrive at the click of a mouse or the word, “Alexa”.
Friendship and family too are available from our couch.
But is this really true? Are these online relationships strong and growing stronger?
Are we missing something? Something so important, so deeply seeded within us that even in endless deluge of likes, emojis, information and things, a voice echoes continually, “There must be something more!”
