We are a forgetful people. We forget what we must do and what we should do. We forget the promises that we’ve made to others and to ourselves. We even forget God.
But we serve a God who will never forget us. A God who is always faithful to keep the promises he has made.
God used Joseph and granted him favor to save Egypt from great famine and destruction. Yet at the end of Genesis, we learn that Egypt has forgotten Joseph. But God did not forget him.
