The Christian life is filled with problems, trials, snares. Fear is part of the believer’s life, and so should prayer be. Why? Because God is not afraid. His lack of fear can still your fear.
Sometimes God isn’t found the first time we seek him. So we must persevere, because he wants to be found. We must build a “platform of faith,” not unbelief, for our prayers. Where do you start in prayer? With your problem or with God?
You must then review your history with/in God. Look back and bring to mind his past faithfulness towards you. Then tell God the problem. And finally give up wanting to have control/power over your situation. The realm of the impossible is the realm of God’s control.
The one who solves the problem is the one who gets the glory. God moves us into the impossible so things can get done and he can receive the glory.
